The air may seem a little fresher to students and staff at St Clair College these days.
The school recently joined the Cleaner Air for Campuses program, improving HVAC and ventilation systems to improve indoor air quality as well as the quality of the learning and teaching environment.
The Cleaner Air program has also been proven to reduce the spread of COVID-19 by delivering cleaner, healthier air.
Since March, 2020, the program has grown to over 320 schools in Ontario.
The College is now hoping to serve as an example to other school boards and health care officials in the area, hosting an open house tonight to show off some of the technology used.
