Details have been released following a drug bust at the Windsor-Detroit border.
According to the Canada Border Services Agency, a commercial truck crossing the Ambassador Bridge into Windsor was stopped on April 17th and referred for a secondary inspection.
Border services officers found 60 bricks of suspected cocaine in the truck cabin, weighing roughly 60 kilograms in total.
A 40-year-old from Paris, Ontario, has been charged with importation of cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The issue remains before the courts in Windsor.
