Coffee Thrown During Restaurant Dispute

Mischief charges have been laid following a disturbance at a Chatham business.

Chatham-Kent Police responded to a St Clair Street restaurant shortly before 10 o’clock Wednesday night.

Authorities say when staff asked a woman to leave the premises, the accused allegedly responded by throwing a pot of coffee.

The 34-year-old was arrested at the scene and held in custody for a bail hearing.
