As it celebrates its 70th anniversary, Community Living Wallaceburg is welcoming area residents into its home.

An open house is being held tomorrow for an afternoon of connection, reflection, and celebration.

The doors at 939 and 1100 Dufferin Avenue will be open from 2:30 until 6pm, giving visitors a chance to explore both offices, meet staff, and get a hands-on experience of exploring scrapbooks, news clippings, and decades of photographs.

Supervisor of Communications & Fund Development, Patricia Peters is “encouraging the community to meander through both office locations and meet some of our incredible staff who bring the organization’s mission to life every day.”

Some individuals supported by the agency will also be in attendance to share their own memories.

“We want the people who made this celebration a reality to share their own stories and reflections with us as well,” Peters added.

Officials say the event is about honoring the people, partnerships, and progress that continue to shape a more inclusive future.

Community Living Wallaceburg provides supports to more than 400 individuals with developmental disabilities and their families throughout Chatham-Kent.
