More than 30 local residents will be honoured this week as part of Chatham-Kent’s annual Community Recognition Awards.
The program is a partnership between the municipality and CN Rail, sharing stories of volunteerism, community leadership, and innovation.
Each year, a group of local residents are selected by members of council as a way to acknowledge their hard work and dedication to the community.
The ceremony will take on Thursday, April 23 at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre. Doors open at 6 o’clock.
