A concerned citizen in Chatham has helped to take an alleged drunk driver off the road.
Shortly before 8:30 Saturday night, Chatham-Kent Police Service received a complaint about an erratic driver who was seen changing speeds and swerving on Queen Street.
Authorities located the vehicle and conducted a roadside test, which registered a fail. The driver was then arrested and taken to police headquarters for further tests.
As a result, a 39-year-old Chatham man has been charged with driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
