A confirmed case of COVID-19 at A.A. Wright Public School in Wallaceburg has sent a number of students home.
The public health unit got in touch with the Lambton Kent District School Board yesterday, and has been reaching out to anyone who might be considered a close contact. Officials say if you haven’t been contacted, you are not considered a close contact.
Public Health is encouraging staff and students alike to remain vigilant and follow all health and safety protocols to prevent the spread of the virus.
In the meantime, the school remains open and all buses will be running today.
