Chatham-Kent Police have made an arrest after a man was spotted breaking into a home under construction in Chatham.
Officers responded to a Northland Drive property on Thursday but say the suspect fled before police arrived.
However, with a description from witnesses, the accused was found a short distance away and arrested.
The 27-year-old has since been charged with several Criminal Code offences, including break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, mischief under $5000, and breach of probation.
