Continuing the Prosperity Conversation

The Chatham-Kent Prosperity Roundtable wants to keep the lines of communication open when it comes to helping communities around the municipality thrive.

On the heels of a free barbecue in Wallaceburg last week, coordinator Phillip Mock says they’ll be holding a town hall meeting at the Legion next Wednesday.

“We not only want to know what the strengths and challenges are, but we really want to understand what ideas we can put into place together,” Mock says. “We want to come up with innovative ideas and to do that we need everybody from all walks of life to come out, keep talking, dig deep to find those really creative ideas.”

Mock says the feedback at last week’s barbecue shows transportation and affordable housing are some of the biggest issues facing Wallaceburg residents.

The town hall will be held October 9th at the Wallaceburg Legion, starting at 5:30pm.
