The Wallace-Kent Sprinkler Systems convoy is on its back home.
The local company collected donations for Fort McMurray residents displaced by the fire.
Chris Logan says the trip stopped a little early.
“We weren’t able to get into for McMurray, it’s all locked up. They aren’t even letting residents back in yet,” says Logan. “We dropped off at the Edmonton Emergency Relief Services warehouse, which is a giant warehouse that they’ve leased out for the next couple of months just to hold all the donations.”
Logan says it was incredible to see the people of Canada pulling together in times of need.
