Cooking Up Some Cash for CKHA

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation is putting a new spin on its popular Parade of Chefs fundraiser.

Executive Director Mary Lou Crowley says tickets are now on sale for a special online event – Harvest Moon, a Virtual Dinner Party Experience, with celebrity host John Catucci from the Food Network.

“He’s going to be assisting in preparing this delicious meal for us, you talk about being familiar with Chatham-Kent, he still speaks very, very highly of his time here and this event keeps him well-connected.”

Catucci hosted the last Parade of Chefs in October, 2019.

Guests will receive a meal box for two, complete with all of the elements for an at-home dinner party.

“There will be a beautiful package in the box, many different ingredients. I want to give a shout out to our farmers, once again they have  come on board for hte produce that will be include in this meal,” Crowley says. “We have Cooper’s Hawk on board with us, master taster chef Barbara Dejonge will actually be doing a tasting with us from Cooper’s Hawk.”

Proceeds support the highest priority needs at the Health Alliance and finding innovative, life-saving equipment.
