Corn Maze To Recognize Ronald McDonald House

The corn maze in Chatham-Kent has chosen a new design to recognize a special charity as part of its 23rd season.

The iMaze corn maze in Thamesville is featuring the Ronald McDonald House charities in its maze design, with the message “Keeping Families Close.”

The Ronald McDonald House, which has locations in Windsor and London, provides accommodations to families while their sick child is treated at a nearby hospital, ensuring they can remain together.

“Here at The Thamesville Maize, we too, strive to keep families close; by providing a space to enjoy the outdoors and learn about agriculture. We love seeing all of the memories created on our farm and are excited to do it some more this fall in our 23rd season,” organizers said on their Facebook page.

Ken and Ingrid Dieleman have operated the corn maze on their farm in Thamesville for more than 20 years. With the help of their four children, they have been able to develop and grow their farm into what it is today.

The opening day for this season’s corn maze is September 2.
