Roughly $2500 worth of suspected counterfeit Canadian money has been taken out of circulation.
Police pulled over a vehicle on Margaret Avenue in Wallaceburg around 11 o’clock last night for a traffic violation.
As officers were investigating, they discovered the phony currency.
A 43-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with Highway Traffic Act offences and possession of counterfeit money.
He’ll answer to the charges in front of a judge on April 20th.
