Chatham-Kent police had to get involved with a couple who seem to have missed out on the “it’s better to give than receive” aspect of Christmas.
Police were called to a Lacroix St. home around 8:20 Friday night because a man and woman were arguing about money owed on a shared Christmas gift.
The man left and on his way out, smashed his girlfriend’s phone on the driveway in anger.
The 22-year-old Chatham man is facing charges of mischief under $5000.00.
