A Windsor woman is facing charges after a domestic dispute turned violent in Thamesville.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to Ferguson Street shortly before 11 a.m. on Tuesday for a domestic disturbance.

Authorities said a couple had been arguing when one of them struck and threatened to harm the other.

As a result, a 41-year-old woman from Windsor was arrested and is now charged with uttering threats and two counts of assault. She has since been released from custody with a future court date.
