COVID-19 Claims Another Life in Chatham-Kent

Another resident in Chatham-Kent has lost their life due to COVID-19.

In its weekly update, CK Public Health says there have been a total of 76 virus-related deaths within the municipality since the start of the pandemic.

There are 66 new reported cases for the week of May 15 to 21 with an average of nine cases per day. 

The positivity rate in Chatham-Kent currently sits at 8% with a 9.6% positivity rate for the province.

Three new outbreaks were reported this week involving the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and two group homes.

As well, there are two patients at Health Alliance who have tested positive for COVID-19.
