Chatham-Kent’s positivity rate sits at 12.8%, up very slightly from 12.3% a week ago. The provincial rate sits at 10.9%.

Since the pandemic was declared in March, 2020, there have been a total of 9635 cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Chatham-Kent, and 86 deaths caused by the virus.

However, public health officials continue to stress case numbers are an underestimate of the total number of infections because of limited PCR testing.
