The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit has announced six more positive cases of COVID-19 in the municipality over the weekend.
With one new case confirmed on Friday, the long weekend total stands at seven new cases, with 25 positive results overall in C-K.
Sunday’s latest positive results include A woman in her 70’s who picked it up through close contact. And a woman in her 50’s whose transmission is still pending.
Saturday’s positive cases involve a female in her 60s, three males – one in his 40s, one in his 50s and one in his 60s, all of whom are believed to have acquired the virus from a close contact.
All of this long weekend’s new cases are reportedly in self-isolation.
That makes a total of 25 cases, one death, seven have recovered and there are currently no cases at the CKHA. There are 86 tests still pending.
According to the Lambton Public Health Unit there were 8 more cases of COVID-19 announced in Sarnia-Lambton on Sunday.
That brings the total cases to 115, the number of deaths held at 10.
15 of the patients in Sarnia-Lambton have recovered.
