There’s been a confirmed case of COVID-19 at Queen Elizabeth II School in Chatham.
The Lambton Kent District School Board says 37 students have been dismissed to quarantine, although the board wouldn’t release any details on what grades the kids are in.
The school remains open.
A letter was sent to parents yesterday, saying Public Health will only call close contacts of confirmed cases. If you haven’t been contacted, that means you have not been in close contact with the confirmed case.
The public board now has confirmed cases in five of its school communities, including McNaughton Avenue Public School, Tecumseh Public School, Chatham-Kent Secondary School, and Riverview Central School in Port Lambton.
