COVID Cases Inch Up, Two Patients in Hospital

Just a slight uptick in Chatham-Kent’s COVID stats today with two new cases being reported by Public Health. Two of those residents are being treated for the virus at CKHA, one in the ICU.

With no resolutions, the municipality’s active caseload has now risen to 29.

Across Ontario, the number of people being treated for the virus in hospital continues to rise with 163 in care province-wide, 127 of whom are in ICU.

Of those who are in hospital, 149 are not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.

The province is also reporting 348 new cases today and 10 more deaths linked to the virus.
