COVID Cases Slip Down Again

Just a slight change in Chatham-Kent’s COVID numbers today.

Public Health is reporting one new case and two resolutions, lowering the total active caseload to 36.

Two more local residents have been admitted to hospital, bringing the total number of COVID patients in care at CKHA to 11, 10 of whom are CK residents. There is one COVID-positive patient being treated in the ICU.

The intensive care unit is just over half full at 60% capacity.

Medical, surgical, and critical care beds are 83% full.

Provincially, the Ministry of Health is reporting 2400 new cases today and another 27 COVID-related deaths.
