Two people had to be taken to hospital following a five-vehicle crash on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent.
The Ontario Provincial Police said three commercial vehicles and two passenger vehicles collided in the eastbound lanes at Victoria Road near Ridgetown at around 2:45 p.m. on Thursday.
Two people suffered minor injuries in the crash and were taken to hospital.
The eastbound lanes of the highway were closed between Victoria Road and Kent Bridge Road for close to three hours while the scene was cleared.
There has been no word yet on whether any charges will be laid in connection with the crash.
