The investigation continues into a crash that shut down a section of Queens Line east of Tilbury.
Chatham-Kent Police responded just before 9 o’clock last night and say a westbound vehicle was turning south onto Merlin Road when it collided with an eastbound vehicle.
One vehicle veered off the road and came to rest in a ditch.
Six people were taken to hospital for medical attention, with one air-lifted to London for further treatment. Two others were transferred by ambulance to hospitals in Windsor and London.
