A 59-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle crash in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to the crash on Colborne Street on Monday at around 4:10 p.m. The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was taken to hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries.
Officers believed the man had been drinking and driving, however, he allegedly failed to provide a breath sample and was arrested.
A 59-year-old from Chatham man is now charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired and refusing to provide a breath sample. He has been released with a future court date.
