A Port Lambton man has been charged following a single-vehicle crash in Wallaceburg.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said emergency crews responded to the collision on Water Street at around 7:20 p.m. on Monday.
The investigating officer believed the man behind the wheel was impaired and arrested him at the scene. The man was taken to police headquarter for breath tests.
As a result, the 23-year-old accused from Port Lambton is charged with having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He has been released with conditions and a date in court next month.
