Credit Card Fraud Lands Two Men With Charges

Two men are facing fraud related charges in connection to a stolen credit card.

Police were notified Tuesday morning that two suspects tried to use the card at a Grand Avenue West business. 

The accused were spotted riding bikes a short distance away. One was stopped and taken into custody, arrested on an outstanding warrant. The other suspect continued to ride away, but was quickly tracked down. Authorities say the man was found carrying several cards in someone else’s name, along with several items purchased using the stolen cards. 

A 25-year-old man is charged with possession of a credit card obtained by crime and possession of stolen property.

A 23-year-old man has been charged with possession of a credit card obtained by crime, possession of stolen property, four counts of fraud under $5000, and failing to stop.
