Crews were called to a home on O’Neil Street in Chatham yesterday afternoon. It’s not clear yet what sparked the flames or just how much damage was done.

Meantime, damage has been pegged at $300,000 following a fire in Merlin.

Crews were called to an Erie Street South residence just before 11 yesterday morning, finding heavy flames and smoke coming from the garage and home.

Officials say high winds blew the flames onto a neighbouring property as well.
