It’s 30 years strong for the Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers.
Spokesperson Dave Bakker says 2016 was a good one, with a lot of hard work doing a lot of good.
“We had over 600 calls to our program in 2016. Which in turn resulted in $2.8 million in stolen property and drugs seized in Chatham-Kent.”
Bakker says 87 arrests, almost 250 charges and 149 clear cases can also be attributed to Crime Stoppers last year.
