Crossing A Land Border Is About To Get Tougher

Travelers entering Canada through a land border will soon be required to present proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

Prime Minister Trudeau announced today that as of February 15th when you return to Canada through a land border you must show a 72 hour PCR just as you do at an airport.

He added while border guards cannot deny entry to Canadians and returning snow birds without proof of a positive test, they could face fines up to $3,000, and a demand for immediate follow up.
