- 1 head lettuce
- ½ cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped green peppers
- 1 bunch green onions, chopped
- 10 oz pkg frozen peas (uncooked)
- 1 ½ cups Miracle Whip
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 4 oz grated cheddar cheese
- bacon bits (I use real bacon chunks)
- 5 hard-boiled eggs, optional
- Chopped black olives, optional
In a 9×13 inch Pyrex dish, layer first 5 ingredients. Lettuce must be very, very dry. Spread Miracle Whip on last layer. Sprinkle with sugar, cheese and bacon bits. Cover well with foil and put in fridge overnight. Decorate with hard boiled eggs and black olives if you wish.
