Dangerous Driving Charge Laid In Fatal Crash Near Tilbury

A Chatham man has now been charged in connection with a head-on crash that claimed a life near Tilbury.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a Hyundai Venue and a Hyundai Sonata collided on Queens Line between Wheeler Line and Davidson Road on January 20 at around 5 p.m.

The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene while the other driver, a 25-year-old Chatham man, was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles.
