The deadline has been extended for anyone who would like to help bring some holiday cheer to local seniors.
As part of the 6th annual Santa for Seniors campaign, residents are invited to donate holiday cards and pack gifts to give to seniors living in retirement and nursing homes, as well as to those who live independently.
Examples of some items that can be given as gifts are toiletries, cookies, tea, puzzles, hats, gloves, stationery, and other small items.
Boxes and cards can be returned to TekSavvy and/or Community Living Wallaceburg, and will be accepted until the end of the business day on Friday, December 19. Gifts and Cards will be delivered up until December 23.
