DI Campaign Hits $5.3 Million

The Public General Hospital Foundation and the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance are coming together to support the Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Renewal Campaign.

CKHA diagnostic imaging staff and PGH Foundation members.

Rick Patterson, Director at the PGH Foundation, says by donating $600,000 to the cause it shows the importance of the foundation in stepping up.

“As a group, Public General Hospital Foundation, we’re not as buoyant in the community as the main foundation, but we do have funds,” Patterson says. “But we really believe in this as one of the main things that would help the whole community and hospital itself.”

The money raises the total to $5.3-million of the $6.9-million goal.

The campaign will support the purchase of 18 pieces of diagnostic imaging equipment for use at the hospitals in both Chatham and Wallaceburg.
