A Chatham woman is facing charges after tracking down another woman she was legally banned from seeing.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, the accused was messaging the other woman and then went to her Sheldon Avenue home Sunday evening, and banged on the windows until a man came out of the house to confront her.
Authorities say when bystander asked the pair to take their argument elsewhere, the woman allegedly shoved the both the bystander and the man.
Investigators confirmed the woman was bound by conditions not to communicate with or attend any place the woman is known to be.
The 32-year-old accused was later arrested and charged with failing to comply with a release order and two counts of assault. She was released from custody with additional conditions and a date in court in May.
