A Wallaceburg woman is facing charges following a disturbance at a local business.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a property on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg at around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday after a woman was seen banging on doors while yelling at staff and other occupants.
Authorities arrived at the scene and learned that the woman had repeatedly been attending the property despite having been trespassed. Officers asked the woman to leave peacefully, but she refused and was arrested.
As a result, a 49-year-old Wallaceburg woman is now charged with entering a premises when prohibited and mischief. She was held in custody for a bail hearing.
