Disturbance Leads To Impaired Driving Charge

A Leamington man will have to answer to a judge in court following a traffic stop in Blenheim.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a domestic disturbance in Blenheim on Wednesday at around 11 p.m.

An individual involved with the incident left before officers arrived, but was later located in a vehicle.

Authorities conducted a traffic stop and arrested the driver after he allegedly provided breath samples that registered a fail.

The 42-year-old Leamington man is now charged with driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was later released with conditions and a scheduled court date.
