The clock is ticking for any dog owners who still haven’t purchased their pet’s municipal tags.
The deadline to buy 2023 dog tags is March 31st. Any tags purchased beyond that date will be subject to a $10 late fee, and owners of dogs caught without a license can be fined $240.
The tag will run you $28 if your pet has been spayed or neutered, $38 if not.
Dog owners can pick up their tags at any municipal office, the Chatham-Kent Animal Shelter on Park Avenue East in Chatham, or online through PAWR.
