An arrest has been made following an attack in Chatham.
Authorities were called to Dover Court shortly before 11:30 Thursday night.
According to investigators, a woman allegedly drove to the home with a third party, got out the vehicle, and attacked the victim, then fled before police arrived.
Police say the suspect was under a court order prohibiting communication with the victim, being within 100 metres of the Dover Court address, or consuming alcohol.
The 23-year-old was arrested at her own home and has since been charged with assault causing bodily harm and three counts of failing to comply with a release order.
She was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
