Charges have been laid following a domestic disturbance in Wallaceburg.
Officers were called to a Westcourt Boulevard property early Sunday afternoon and say in the heat of an argument, a man allegedly struck a woman in the face, causing injury.
The 38-year-old Dresden man was arrested and charged with assault.
He was released from custody with conditions and a January court date.
