Downtown Dresden is the place to be Saturday night. 
Organizers are hosting their second summer Dresden Night Market.
Thousands of people flocked to last year’s inaugural summer event.
Organizer Morena McDonald says with four craft breweries taking part in a pop up patio this year, they’re trying to be more eco-friendly.
“We’ll be using compostable cups because we really want to be conscious about our waste,” McDonald says. “We’re trying out with this, it’s really hard to go zero-waste your first time. Even though they’re compostable, we encourage everyone to reuse them.”
Shoppers are also asked to bring usable bags if they can. The event will feature 70 vendors, music, and other live entertainment.
St George/North Street and Main will be blocked off for vendors and the pop-up patio, while Brown Street will be used for live music and parking.
