The Dresden Slots rang for the final time last night. 
After opening beside the Dresden Raceway in 2001, the machines fell silent at 8pm last night.
Gateway Casino staff are spending today transitioning to the new Cascades Casino in Chatham.
Gateway took over the Dresden operations in May, 2017.
The Chatham casino will hold what’s called a ‘soft opening’ tomorrow, starting at 5 o’clock, with a full grand opening celebration slated for August 8th.
