A ‘Lite Bite’ fundraiser for the Dresden Splash Pad more than doubled expectations at the Dresden Legion on Friday night, raising $21,000.
The Dresden Rotary Club vowed to match all donations from the evening up to a maximum of $5,000.
Committee members are ecstatic to not have met that goal and then some.
The Thamesville Sertoma Club also donated $1,000 to the cause.
Fundraising efforts will continue throughout the Dresden area.
