Drive Shed Fire Causes $1.2 Million in Damage

Damage following a drive shed fire in Dresden has been pegged at $1.2 million.

Fire fighters from stations in Dresden, Tupperville, and Chatham South responded to the blaze on Union Line just after 5:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Officials say crews were able to contain the fire to the 60’ by 120’ drive shed and prevent the flames from spreading to the house, a second barn, a camping trailer, and a semi-truck.

No one was hurt. The cause has been listed as undetermined.
