A local man has been charged following a single-vehicle collision in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a section of Bloomfield Road shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday after a vehicle blew through a stop sign, left the road, and came to rest 100 feet into a field.
Both occupants in the vehicle were taken to hospital for evaluation but were not injured.
Following an investigation, a 75-year-old Chatham man was charged under the Highway Traffic Act and issued a ticket. His driver’s licence, which had expired, was seized by police.
