Driver Charged Following Highway 40 Collision

A Windsor resident is facing charges in connection to a crash south of Wallaceburg.

Highway 40 was briefly closed at Electric Line on Friday morning after a two-vehicle collision involving a transport and passenger vehicle.

Provincial Police say the driver and lone occupant of the passenger vehicle was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The 70-year-old has since been charged with failing to stop at a stop sign.

The driver of the transport was unscathed.
