A driver from Chatham and another from London are without their vehicles this week after being charged with stunt driving.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers first pulled over a vehicle on Highway 40 in Chatham-Kent at around 7:14 a.m. on November 1, after it was clocked at 137 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
Another vehicle was stopped in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 in CK on November 5 at around 1:25 p.m. That vehicle was caught speeding 65 km/h over the limit in a 100 km/h zone.
As a result, a 22-year-old from Chatham and a 24-year-old from London are each facing a charge of stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
Both were also issued a 30-day driver’s licence suspension and their vehicles will be impounded for 14 days.
