Driveway Rage in Chatham

Charges have been laid after tempers flared in the driveway of a Chatham home.

Authorities say the incident took place August 25th on Park Avenue West. According to Chatham-Kent Police, the accused threw a coffee onto the radio and dash of the car, got out, and started kicking it the vehicle, causing damage to the passenger door.

Officers were unable to track down the suspect at the time and issued a warrant for his arrest.

Sunday afternoon, the 31-year-old turned himself into police headquarters and has been charged with two counts of mischief.

He was released with conditions and a date in court next month.
