
A Wheatley resident is facing charges following a drug bust.
The Ontario Provincial Police said officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Wheatley at around 5 a.m. on Friday.
Authorities seized suspected cocaine, Canadian and US currency, and drug related paraphernalia with a total estimated value of over $5,000.
As a result, a 37-year-old from Wheatley was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, breaching a release order, and possession of proceeds obtained by crime under $5,000. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
