Drug Bust Nets Crooks

Chatham-Kent Police have taken more than 10,000 worth of drugs off the streets.

Officers carried out a pair of drug busts in Chatham yesterday. A 43-year-old man was arrested at a Harvey Street residence, charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Then in the afternoon, officers raised a home on Elizabeth Street, seizing crack cocaine, fentanyl, meth, and oxycodone.

Police also found a pair of prohibited weapons, including a brass knuckles/knife combo.

A 32-year-old man is facing several charges in that case, including four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
