Two men from Wallaceburg and Stratford are facing drug charges following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 401 in Thames Centre.
The Ontario Provincial Police said a vehicle collided with debris in the eastbound lanes of the highway, causing the crash on Tuesday at around 11:30 p.m.
Officers arrived at the scene and, following a search, discovered a restricted weapon and illicit drugs in the vehicle.
As a result, a 33-year-old Wallaceburg man and a 39-year-old Stratford man are both charged with possession of methamphetamine.
The accused from Wallaceburg is additionally charged with knowingly being in a vehicle with a prohibited or restricted weapon.
Both men have been released from custody with future court dates.
